Lammy, A Troubled Soul
Ever since the end of his last show, "Lamb Chop’s Play Along", Lammy has been out of work. Now I know I've said some bad things about Lammy in the past, but being an out of work actor is hard. I'm sure that's why he's so hostile all the time. Lammy really started to go down hill after the 1996 Daytime Emmy Awards. The award for Outstanding Children Series went to Reading Rainbow instead of Lamb Chop's Play Along because the academy was pressured by all the negative press surrounding LeVar Burton's (the host of Reading Rainbow) accusations towards Lammy. Burton was quoted as saying, "…when Lammy isn’t filming he’s out getting high on drugs” and also said in an interview with TIME Magazine, “How else do you think he came up with the theme song. Tell me what type of song never ends? This theme song promotes drug use and it’s real meaning is hidden behind the cutsie melody. Is this the type of show you want our children watching?” Lammy retaliated after the award show in anger by pulling up alongside Burton at a stop light with his fellow cast members Charlie Horse, and Hush Puppy. Their “supposed drug referenced” theme song was blaring and they fired two shots from a semi automatic into the tires of his vehicle. Charlie Horse the next day committed suicide in his beach condo after the producers announced the show would be cancelled. Hush Puppy later that month checked into a rehab facility leaving Lammy friendless, jobless, and Emmyless. Burton sued, but Lammy was later acquitted on all charges do to lack of evidence.
Lammy has been through much trauma, but is in denial. He doesn’t believe that his violent actions are the cause of his lack of acting roles. He believes Lamb Chop’s Play Along really type-casted him. He has had great difficulty breaking into the film industry. Lammy desperately wants to be taken seriously as a dramatic actor and auditioned for such roles as Forest Gump, James Bond, and more recently for Jesus Christ in The Passion. Lammy was guaranteed the part, but at the last minute the role went to Jim Caviezel because Mel Gibson felt Lammy’s short arm span would be a hindrance while filming the cross scenes.
Please, Lammy’s wild drug days are over. He is a serious and talented actor who wants the chance to practice his beloved craft that he’s extremely passionate about. Don’t hold his past mistakes against him, give Lammy a chance.

Poor Lammy has such a tough life.
Maybe he should do a reality show.
I think Burton was willing to say just about anything to win; and I've heard that he is a lambist.
Maybe Lammy's luck will change.

Once again you have written a compeling (is that spelled right? Does it need another 'm'?)story. Please give Lammy my deepest condolences. Hope to see you soon. I am going to e-mail you later today. -Dani

Obviously Lammy is no longer on steroids, so he has that going for him. But when child actors grow up, they lose some appeal. I am afraid Lammy is in for hard times. Better get him a job flippin' burgers.

Hey, Hoss's idea isn't bad.
Lammy could do that at the Flippin Burger Joint near the Flippin Church of God you posted a pic of a couple of posts back.
Maybe then, Lammy can get re-discovered there.

Courty we watched the movie a few nights ago that you and Tay wrote, directed and filmed about the 'Shoot em up Gambler', starring none other than KH as the gambler. It was so funny, maybe the next film you could give Lammy a part and surely someone would see Lammy's acting abilities and give him a chance at proving he can act without someones fist in his face. Maybe I could give some friends of mine who are in SHOW BIZ a call. Poor Lammy. I miss him, too and would love to see him on screen again. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

It's like Gary Coleman all over again. So sad, so sad.
I like JD's idea about the reality show. I can totally see Lammy on the Surreal Life!

I hear they are filming a remake of Jaws. The staring roll is filled but they are looking for talented swimmers; Can Lammy swim?
Just trying to be helpful.

I could definitely see Lammy as Jesus.
Except he'd probably sue every time somebody yelled "Christ!" when their pants got soaked on the street.
People who sue...ugh.

Wow! That was a lot of fun to read. Reminds me of the website The Onion. Probably because of the journalistic style. I think you just gained a regular reader.
